Advanced Technology

Class IV Laser Therapy for Rehabilitation Support

Class IV laser therapy may be used alongside physiotherapy to help manage pain and inflammation and support tissue recovery when clinically appropriate. Treatment uses focused light energy as one part of an individualized rehabilitation plan.

Sessions are non-invasive, and many patients report a gentle warming sensation. Your clinician will assess your condition, discuss expected benefits and limitations, and determine whether laser therapy is appropriate for your treatment plan.

One Team.
Multidisciplinary Care.
Better Results.

Recovery rarely fits inside a single discipline. At New Ray, your physiotherapist, kinesiologist, massage therapist, chiropractor and counsellor work from the same plan, in the same building so nothing about your care gets lost between appointments.

01

One plan, shared by your whole team

Your clinicians talk to each other. If your physiotherapist thinks massage or active rehab would speed things up, that conversation happens here, not through a referral letter.

02

Every discipline under one roof

Physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage, kinesiology, acupuncture, pelvic health and counselling, all in one Abbotsford clinic so you’re never sent across town mid-recovery.

03

Care for the whole person

Pain affects sleep, work and mood. Having clinical counselling alongside hands-on treatment means we can support the parts of recovery that aren’t purely physical.

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?
For most extended health plans you can book directly without a referral. Some insurers or specific plans do require one so it's worth checking your policy and if you're not sure, call us and we'll help you find out.
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes. We provide direct billing to most extended health plans so in many cases you won't pay the full amount up front. Bring your insurance details to your first visit and we'll take care of the rest.
Can you help with my ICBC claim?
We welcome ICBC patients. Bring your ICBC claim number to your first visit and we'll guide you through the process. If you have questions about what's covered, give us a call before you come in.
Do you treat WorkSafeBC injuries?
Yes, we treat workplace injuries and work with WorkSafeBC claims. Let us know the details of your claim when you book so we can prepare for your visit.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your insurance or claim details, any relevant medical information or imaging and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If you have an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, bring your claim number.
What happens during the first visit?
Your physiotherapist will assess your movement, ask about your history and goals and talk through a plan after the assessment. You'll usually begin some treatment or exercises the same day.
How long is each appointment?
Your first assessment is typically longer than follow-up visits so there's time to understand your situation fully. Your clinician will let you know what to expect for your ongoing sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition, goals and how you respond to treatment. Your physiotherapist will discuss expected timelines with you after your assessment and adjust the plan as you progress.
Is physiotherapy treatment painful?
Some techniques may feel uncomfortable at times but we always work within your comfort zone and welcome your feedback during treatment. Let your therapist know how you're feeling at any point.
What are your hours and where are you located?
We're at Unit 310, 32700 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford BC V2T 4M5, open 8:00am to 8:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 9:00am to 6:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with parking on site.
