High-intensity laser used to reduce inflammation and support tissue repair, painless, non-invasive and quick to apply.
Class IV laser therapy uses concentrated light energy to penetrate deeper than lower-powered devices. That energy is absorbed by cells and used to support repair, reduce inflammation and decrease pain.
Treatment is quick and comfortable, the applicator moves over the area and most people feel only pleasant warmth. It is typically added within a physiotherapy appointment rather than booked alone.
Protective eyewear is worn by everyone in the room. Laser is not suitable over certain areas or conditions, including pregnancy, active cancer and some implanted devices so we screen carefully beforehand and will tell you if it is not appropriate.
Laser therapy is used for inflammatory and soft-tissue conditions, often alongside hands-on treatment.
